Ruurd brings in 30 years of experience in the financial industry as advisor, investor, banker and entrepreneur. After he had built up the acquisition financing team at Staalbankiers he started an incubator, a corporate finance boutique, an investment company and a software company. He has also been an advisor to the Dutch government on state aid, latest as director of the Voucher fund that was created for granting COVID-19 state aid to the Dutch travel sector. As a thread through his career Ruurd has been connected to the Dutch tech sector, with a wealth of successful deals.
